Sunset Strip Music Festival Proves to be one of Biggest Fests in Los Angeles

The fifth annual Sunset Strip Music Festival (SSMF) wrapped on Saturday (August 18) with standing-room-only performances on the Sunset Strip for more than 15,000 fans by headliners Marilyn Manson, The Offspring, Steve Aoki, Bad Religion and more than 70 artists throughout the day and into the night and early morning hours.

Block by Block Ambassadors  were there before, during and after the event; providing security services, ticket checking and venue cleaning for the closed-off Sunset Strip.

“With the support of our amazing sponsors, the City of West Hollywood, artists, music fans and volunteers, the Sunset Strip Music Festival delivered a full day of high-energy performances that celebrated the boulevard’s rich musical past, present and future,” noted SSMF CEO and Sunset Strip Business Association Executive Director, Todd Steadman.

“Once again SSMF produced unique moments that have defined this signature annual event. We were happy to welcome thousands of fans to the boulevard, and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year.”

Downtown Ambassadors Prepare to Greet World Choir Games International Guests

Downtown Cincinnati Ambassadors Ready the City for World Choir Games

With the start of the World Choir Games just one day away, the Queen City is shifting it’s focus to the expected 15,000 international guests.

Downtown Ambassadors will be spread out across the streets of Cincinnati to greet and to guide visitors. The ambassadors are also in charge of making sure downtown stays safe and clean during the 11-day event.

The ambassadors will be wearing bright orange shirts and khaki shorts so they’re easily recognizable.

Downtown Cincinnati Incorporated initiated the Downtown Ambassadors program. More than 20 ambassadors have already been patrolling Fountain Square, but organizers say they’ll be providing even more of a service during the World Choir Games.

Cleveland Ambassadors Help Downtown Shine for Rock Week

Cleveland Ambassadors Ready the Town for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Events

As the Rock Hall rolls out the red carpet, Downtown Cleveland is rolling out the welcome mat.

Thousands of out-of-towners are arriving for the induction events of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

For the 55 ambassadors of the Downtown Cleveland Alliance, that means working around the clock to help the city put its best foot forward.

The crews in blue and gold are power washing, planting flowers and picking up trash.

Concentrating on the areas around Public Hall and the entertainment districts, ambassadorship is a 24/7 job.
